Nah, the download probably got corrupted.
mods like gladiatrix(3parts) require cep 2.6. Downloaded the lastest build here, and the game will not load saying it is missing tlk files. will download 2.6 instead of the latest file. just a heads up, not sure what is causing it, but something is missing somewhere.
@kenmei071 you need to install all the .tlk files that come with the current download in your tlk folder to ensure backward compatibility.
I want to start a new module with a new character, but every colour looks like chrome.
Using NWN 1.69 + CEP 2.65 ...
Check that you have removed any custom content from overide / patch haks, and have the CEP haks in the recommended order in your module.
Anyone else having issues with creating armor using 2.65 where shoulders set to 0 show a shoulder piece? The empty part is way further down randomly. Is this intended as it kind of seems counter intuitive in the process of quickly running all parts to a empty starting design.
Apart from that I really appreciate the seperation of the filler content into the sb file! CEP has come a humongous leap forward since its incarnation. Keep up the great work even if its minor tweaking its greatly appreciated for a game such as NWN.

Try downloading and injecting the Quickfix (down one slot from the 2_65 mian).
After importing cep2_add_sb_v1.erf I'm getting a "List index out of bounds (120)" error whenever I try to build the module. Seems to always stop at zep_aribeth when compiling. Does anyone know what's going on?
EDIT: Seems to have just been some sort of conflict with cep and one of my other haks. Made all of the custom armors unusable so I had to delete them.
Is anyone else getting an access violation error when trying to paint a custom CEP item into the only area in the mod "CEP - Starter 265 - All the Optional Haks" using the latest NWN:EE build 8193.13? Or do i have to do something to make it work? I just redownloaded the CEP and have not altered the mod in any way. I can paint standard items but not CEP items. I have an old nvidia card so maybe I am just sol as there will be no updated drivers for my old card.
See the image of the toolset error. Sometimes I get that, other times I cannot even see and select items in the custom pallete. Do I need to import the erfs? aren't they already imported in all those haks?
PS: of course just importing cep2_add_sb_v1.erf added some stuff to the palette but not as much as I had in the palette when getting those errors. Not sure what I had in there now, maybe I had imported too much. Are there some included erfs that are incompatible with others?
Anyhoo, the CEP is awesome, thanks!
Looks good. Will give it a try.
Rock On, Amethyst Dragon and Team!!!
Looking forward to digging through this!!! :)
CEP 2.65 is too old when the new NWN EE build 8193.14 is released, so is somebody working to update CEP ?
@Taball - can you explain what you mean by "too old", giving examples or evidence?
New placeables, monsters etc. is not working in NWN EE Development build 8193.14 when you use CEP 2.65, due to new entries in 2da files. so CEP need to update this if builders should be able to use the new stuff:
https://store.steampowered.com/newshub/app/704450/view/2724067792533337540
@Tyball - I can't speak for CEP, but I can give some information about that.
Still think you should do and update, you are missing a lot of cool stuff from this build:
"Early winter 2", "Lizardfolk interior" and "Medieval City 2" tile set really all cool tilesets, some of the placeables (found lizards placables and cheeses placables and other small nice things not in CEP 2.65), all the new monsters not in cep 2.65 (they are really cool and more detailed then standard monsters gfx in NWN), I may have missed other parts not in cep 2.65. But think you need to make a top hak that uses all this new stuff,. you are right that some parts are in CEP 2.65 but not all what is coming, at least when released take a look at it ;)
I've come across an issue with Steam and that is subscribing to CEP does not put the files in the correct place (documents etc).
I found I had to manually download CEP and then copy them over.
Also can't find an erf subfolder so just put those with the other erf files.
Bit of a n00b with NVN and mods so I hope I'm doing the right thing
@thirstyman The issue is with Steam, not CEP. If you subscribe to the Steam Workshop version of CEP, Steam downloads it into a cryptically numbered folder within your Steam files, as it does with all other items. Any modules requiring CEP will then work, provided you run the Steam version of NWN with the Steam client active and an internet connection. So, Steam would argue that the files are in the correct place.
However, you're quite right, you can move the Steam version, or simply download CEP from this page, into the corresponding folders in Documents. That's recommended, because CEP will then work with all versions of NWN EE, even if the Steam client is not active and there is no internet.
Yes, I only have the Steam version but several of the files are not working properly which was solved by manually adding the files.
Quite a few comments on the Steam CEP page confirm this so I unsubscribed and added manually. Hopefully this will solve my problems with modules that need CEP
Tried following the install instructions for this and it just won't work for me. I'm using diamond 1.69 I also have EE but EE won't load at all. I don't bother with it. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please
@Armpit - when you say "it just won't work", what issues are you seeing, exactly? Installing CEP2 won't do anything until you start a module that requires it, such as the demo module included. If you've done that, what error message are you getting? Have you looked at the log?
Got problem with Robe and mount phenotype. Any fix?
I don't think anyone is fixing CEP at present.
If there's a robe that doesn't show up when mounted, copy the normal phenotype robe model, then rename to mounted phenotype using model renamer. Also, copy and remame the texture using file manager. For background on how that works, see Custom Content Guide on theVault.
Howdy,
I'm currently playing "The Aielund Saga" in EE. When trying to transition from act 3 to act 4 part 1 I get the error message, "missing custom talk table". Would that be in the CEP, or somewhere else?
I'm running CEP 2.4.
Gregor
Make sure you have downloaded all the required haks from the project page of The Aielund Saga Act IV - The Fall of Aielund (Part One)
FP!
First thing to try is upgrading to CEP 2.65. If that doesn't work, ask the module author.
@Fester Pot: I've done that, but thanks. :^)
@Proleric: Do I have to uninstall CEP 2.4, or just install CEP 2.6 over it? I'm running Linux Mint 19.2 Xfce 64 bit, so the windows installer doesn't work on my computer. I have to extract all the files and then copy them over individually into the proper game folders.
(edit) Nevermind. I figured it out. ;^)
