Hak to Override Converter?

There are a lot of interesting weapon models for Neverwinter Nights 2 that I would like to use. Unfortunately, they are in a hak pack. Is there a way to convert them so that you can put them in an override. I am new to this, so I am not sure what to do.

If im not mistaken, cant you just use nwnhak.exe I have done this for nwn1 and if im not mistaken, the gff/erf structure for nwn1 and nwn2 haks are identical. Just open the haks, drag them / export to override.

Are you trying to asset flip into NWN1?

Let me rephrase the question. There is a hak pack I found that I wanted to use as an override in NWN2. How do I do that?

NWN2 supports subfolders in the override folder, so feel free to simply unpack the hak pak in such a subfolder. E.g. you can create a folder in the override folder called "weapons". The original NWN Hak Editor most likely cannot be used to unpack NWN2 content, but the community tool NWN2 packer does work. I use the older 1.9 myself, but see now that there's a 2.0.1. version available: https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/other/tool/nwn-packer-v20
Do note though, that if the package you want to use is an elder version that was made before the final 1.23 release, you might run into a little trouble with 2da files if there are such files in the package.
