It all started, when Alinde Colds got her hands on a balor summoning gem, and decided to tame one as a pet. She was at my house with my sister Icilia, when she ordered the balor to "Sit on the Sofa". The balor, turned to the sofa, tossed out a fireball that burned up the sofa. Alinde is a very stubborn girl. She does not give up easily. I lost three sofas that day.

This is an unpolished (but finished) story that takes place somewhere in the world that I created. It was written as a means of showing off the actions and abilities of Magic, in this case the Elemental Magic of Earth. There will be 6 of these stories, for the 6 forms of magic: The four Elements (Air, Earth, Water, Fire), Spirit, and Nature magic. The four elements, are, as usual for elemental magic, tied together somewhat, although in a slightly different manner: Air opposes Fire, and Earth opposes Water. Spirit and Nature magic are entirely different, one based on the existence of the spirit world (think Greek Hades, as a general guide), and Nature magic, which is very totemic in nature. This story will be published in 15 installments.

This is part one of the story of Earth. This takes place in a more defined setting, the city of Tri-Hauwcerton, more easily called the city of Earth. It lies in the North and West, cupped by the valley of a great mountain range.

The evil that everyone knows of, but none encountered. Yet we feel it reign within our mind and heart, when shadow encases us.

Joy marks our lives, upon birth. But through time, we encounter things we wish sometimes we hadn't. Dark times have crossed my path, and I wrote this poem during those periods of sorrow.

While writing this poem I tried to create an image of something, that thing we do not know off, yet we fear it. The darkness in shadows which scares us, even though reality tells us such evil does not exist. Whether it exists or not, that is up to you, but its presence, we must admit, we have all felt.

This poem can be used as a warning for a present evil, that lurks your imaginary worlds within Neverwinter. Feel free to use it, or comment (constructive) on it. I would love to hear what such users as yourself feel and think while reading this, and your experience. Please vote aswell, so I could have a reflection of the users' opinion.
