Unusual Module List (UML) [NWN1]

Author:
Werelynx

Unusual Module List (UML) lists all "strange" modules that 'really' differ from "rural" longsword-hero adventures. Just in case you are looking for something non-generic.

A) Play as..

..Amazon:

  • Amazon Warrior (A story about a war between the Romans and the savage women of the eastern lands: the Amazons.)

  • http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=3464 Fallen Star (Final)

..Amnesia-struck PC:

  • Desert Madness(Dark Summoning) (You awaken to find yourself in a slave holding pen. You have forgotten your memory and are not sure where you came from. You can only remember your name. You suddenly realize that you are a slave and have been scheduled for the famous Arena Battles in the Desert City of Shakri. If you survive your battle you may win your freedom. What happens next is up to you?!)
  • Destiny (This is a dramatic, DM-Friendly Module. Its purpose is to allow one character to develop an epic backstory that will provide many plot hooks and opportunities throughout that characters lifetime. The rest of the party act as companions, consciences and advisors, as the lead character grapples with the confusion, guilt, excitement and moral conundrums that the module places in his way.)

..Archeologist:

  • Celestial Chronicles (Part 1) (In an empire where tyranny and censorship reign supreme, history has been relegated to myth, and knowledge of the ancient tomes is subject to trial and execution. Despite the danger, rebels and discontented scholars still search the forgotten places of the world, yearning for even fragments of the forbidden histories. Tale of Serena, a young archaeologist whose journey for the truth takes her from excavated ruins to forgotten isles, and even into visions of the land as it once was before the temptations of magic rent the world asunder. The truth may prove to be more than Serena or her unsuspecting world are prepared to face…)

..Cultist:

  • A Thief in the Night [NO LINK YET] (The lich Gariert has been defeated by a party of adventures. Can you, a member of Gariert's cult, use your mind control powers to recover his phylactry from Kentburg Manor without your presence being detected?)

  • Night of Venom

..Demon:

..Demonspawn:

  • Demonheart:

  1. Demonheart - Prelude (first module in the Demonheart series. You must play this one first! Demonheart is a dark fantasy / twisted / drama / romance module series for a female player character of any alignment and a specific class (Rogue, Bard, Fighter).)

  2. Demonheart - Chapter I (The Southern Alliance plans to use the immortal girl as an ultimate assassin. Ordered to hide her identity even from her townspeople, forbidden to contact anyone she used to know, the girl is sent to a military outpost, soon to go into battle. While some of the soldiers fear for her wellbeing, treating her as a fragile child, others openly mock her skill in combat. But the girl is not as alone as everyone believes - perhaps not even as alone as she would wish to be...)

  3. Demonheart - Chapter II (BETA) (still in BETA)

..Detective:

  • Angel Falls ("Evil stalks the town of Angel Falls and your aid has been requested." A dark surreal, strange, mostly nonlinear mystery for a single character of approx. 20th level. Although I believe you can play with any class/race/sex, this sort of thing is usually better suited towards brooding male humans (pensive/reflective).)

  • Auren society of weavers:

  1. Almraiven (The Auren draw their power from a weave that spans into the Land of the Dead. It allows such members to grasp a better understanding of the spirits that roam that realm and use it to their advantage. As of late the weave has felt tainted, as if it has been soiled in some way. Even your assistant Charles, who you summoned from the Land of the Dead, complained of headaches and the like. The dead should not do this. It is this very taint that has awoken the Council of the High Tower from their slumber in tombs they have remained within for one-hunded and sixty years. On this night your first assignment is to come from Bakadah, an assignment given directly to him by the Council of the High Tower.)

  2. Shadewood (The trail left behind in Almraiven has brought you here; a foul wood that has been attacking those along the Western Passage, or so the locals of Almraiven have said. Branches reaching a little too far, roots curling upward to entangle the passer-by and wandering spirits have been on the tongues of many.)

  • Beneath (Something strange is happening in the far outpost next to the Great Glacier, and you are sent to investigate. Playable with any character. No haks needed.)
  • Black Thorn (The dying words of a fallen knight are all you have to go on as you step out of the driving rain and into the Black Thorn Inn. Strangers eye you from the corners of a dimly lit room... weary travellers, local woodsmen, a strumming bard, a noblewoman. One of them is not what they seem... and you only have until midnight to discover which one. The fate of the Kingdom of Cormyr is in your hands.)

  • Detective (Short side-quest type story where the player is thrown into the role of detective, attempting to discover who has stolen a relic from a local innkeeper. Zero combat included, this will require a little patience and a little wit to succeed.)

  • The Missionette (This module is based only on investigation. Your character can't gained any XP and won't have to fight. You'll only have to discuss and explore... The race, gender and class of your character is free. Have fun !)
  • Revenant (Your murder was sudden and brutal. Yet you remember nothing of it. As you rise from the soft earth of the village graveyard, you recall only that you were betrayed, but by whom? The fog of death clings to your mind like the earth clings to your decaying body. You have become a revenant - an undead creature whose only reason for existence is to hunt down and exact revenge upon its killer. But who has slain you and why? And, most importantly, did you deserve to die? Your quest for answers begins now ...)

  • Third Eye Detective Agency (The Third Eye Detective Agency has sent out a call for mercenaries. You know that the Detective Agency is a gathering of powerful heroes, trying to keep the realms safe and free. What tasks would such heroes need completed? Travel to Triilumina City, a city built in the belly of a giant sentient asteroid, the ArchEye.)

  • Tribute - The Black Thorn (As the name says, this is a small tribute to El Dano's masterpiece "Black Thorn". The mod brings back the player for another go at catching the spy. The setting is more light as are the characters.)

..Doppelganger:

  • Bordering Genius: Poor Flock [NO LINK YET]

..Dragon:

  • tPoCD Episode 12: Hordes! (Once upon a time, an old, very talented but proud dwarf called Cestus Dei boasted he could build a thief-proof vault (Episode 1: Get Ducky!). His penurious erstwhile employer (who owed him a *lot* of gold) wagered his back-pay against the boast. Long story short; an old antagonist of the dwarf's named Vibrant pen Umbra won that challenge, making off with an absurd amount of treasure (that I had to *borrow* from her in the first place :-/ )and is leading Cestus on a wild-rogue chase all over Amethyst.)

..Drow:

  • A Hunt through Dark:

  1. A Hunt Through the Dark - Trilogy Special Edition V 2.2 (Did you ever want to play the dark side? How about being one of the most evil, dreaded, despised creatures of Faerun? How about being a drow? Find out in this roleplaying module.)

  2. A Hunt Through the Dark - Chapter 4 - Cormanthor

  3. A Hunt Through the Dark - Chapter 5 - Acecerak

  4. A Hunt Through the Dark - Chapter 6 - Ruins of Myth Drannor

Tricked by an unseen foe, you have been blamed for the theft of a sacred book from the Zhaunillanin Great Library. Your punishment should have been slow death, but, at the request of a Priestess of LLolth, you have been spared. Instead you have become something worse, Dobluth, an outcast. ..Githzerai, Githyanki, Tiefling or Aasimar:

..Gladiator/Gladiatrix:

Fame and fortune await in the midst of danger and treachery. Your success in the arena will soon be noticed by a mysterious, secret organization that has need of your talents, but your decision to assist takes you down dark paths. WARNING: This module contains explicit sexual content.)

    2. Gladiatrix II - In the Shadows of Darkness (During your career as a gladiator in Waycross you became involved with a mysterious organization called the Shroud. This group works in secrecy to stop the designs of the Scourge. The Scourge has been using dark magic to create an army of horrid monstrosities and undead in order to take over the realms. ..Harper Scout(not necessarily as this class):

  • Cormyrean Nights (Once the most peaceful of kingdoms Cormyr has suffered greatly in the last two years. Orcs and goblins rose up in unheard of numbers. Cormyr rose to war suffering defeat after defeat. When the crisis had finally passed many of the kingdoms finest warriors, soldiers, War Wizards and nobility were lost, including King Azoun IV himself. With a child king on the throne, Cormyr is slowly trying to come to terms with its loss. However many noble families are on the edge of rebellion, and Sembian interests are trying to covertly take control of the kingdom. It would take very little for the city to return to those far off days, and its destiny might lie in the hands of a single character, who is about to enter its gates.)

..Lycanthrope(shapeshifer):

  • Sapphire Star (Sapphire Star is a Forgotten Realms module, based on a PnP campaign, the Guardian. The module is developed for a full single-player experience of the Western Heartlands, including character development, non-linearity, good/evil plot courses, lycanthropy for players (werewolf and wererat), large quests and areas to explore, multiple endings, exciting conflicts, new spells, original song and an optional intro movie.)

..Necromancer:

The shamans have held the artifacts for half a century, keeping them from falling into the wrong hands at all costs. • Arctacia Adventures Trilogy (This is a puzzle/adventure module. It is solely intended as such. There is no combat or heavy role-playing in this module. It plays in a similar manner as the Myst games do or Russ' The Crypt of Riddles. You are Suge Zerdolux, a traveler of sorts to come across the ruins of some strange complex. After finding a way inside, you begin to realize that you've stepped into a forgotten world surrounded in conflict, strange illusions, and puzzles. Your goal is to solve riddles, puzzles, and venture your way through many bizarre locations as you try to locate the source behind this madness, and hopefully put an end to this ancient mystery.)
  • Crypt of Medea v2.0 (A 3D remake of the classic Apple II game "Crypt of Medea", a dark Zork-like horror text adventure made back in 1984 by Sir-Tech, the creators of Wizardry. After falling unconscious during a walk through an old cemetary late at night, you awaken in an unfamiliar tomb. This tomb is, in fact, the Crypt of Medea, and it is filled with deadly traps and hostile creatures. But who is Medea... and for what sinister purpose have you been brought to her terrible crypt?)

  • The Crypt of Riddles:
    1. The Crypt of Riddles I v1.03 (You actually have to solve riddles to finish this one. Only 25% hacking and slashing, not recommended for the Diablo style players. Could be single player, but better with a DM.)

    2. The Crypt of Riddles II (This is just like Crypt of Riddles, but bigger, with a real actual plot, more characters, a few more riddles, lots more puzzles, and neat surprises. Has comprehensive Player's guide, DM's guide, and a riddle hints section.. v1.05 fixes numberous obscure MP player bugs, and make the exit from the Maze of Perils more obivous. Basically, you've been contracted to delve into the Tomb of Kamu and steal treasure. Fairly straightforward...or is it?)
  • Mummy Dust [NO LINKS YET]

  • Novum (The protagonist, Napay, is a faithful member of a secret shamanistic sect. These shamans, as the guardians of time and space in Nature, have the power to both shapeshift into various animals and travel through time. • Soul Shaker (You finally defeated the lich of the ancient tower, driving it back to its demi-plane. Now, hopefully, you can find and rescue Terrell, the wizard that the lich had taken prisoner (..) At first glance, he looks dead, but then you realise he still lives! Then, in your mind, you hear his voice (..) He explains his soul has been separated from his body and is trapped on another dimension ... the same dimension as where you had just banished the lich! Module inspired by System Shock gameplay style)

  • Zork I: The Great Underground Empire (Ultimate Edition) (Prepare yourself, brave adventurer, for you are about to set off upon a quest to find the treasures that lie scattered about the GUE (Great Underground Empire) and perhaps even return alive to tell the tale! But beware... for savage grues lurk in the dark and a solitary thief stalks the halls, seeking to steal the treasures for himself. Fiendish mazes, diabolical traps, and crafty puzzles... it's all there in the fullest, most accurate translation of the classic game ever to hit Nwn! Zork I, the Ultimate Edition. No fans of Nwn, and Zork, should be without one!)

J) Time Travel:

  • IAT1 - Time Becomes A Loop [NO LINKS YET]

  • The HeX Coda 01 (...modern civilization is one of prosperity and safety, with all magic legally controlled by a monolithic business called the Cathedral Corporation. As part of the underground magic movement known as the Hex Coders, every day is a race to develop new arcane technologies and evade persecution by the Cathedral. That alone would be trouble enough, but add the sins of an ancient civilization rising in the present day and you've got more than your fair share of problems. Can you lead the team through this interlocking puzzle across time and space, and avoid getting twenty to life for unauthorized use of magic..?)

L) Player owned keep/mansion:

  • Darkness over Daggerford (Canceled Premium Module) (To many, the town of Daggerford is of little consequence. To others, however, it is of immeasurable value. The nearby great cities of Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate would do well to look over their shoulders at what is brewing in this once sleepy town. Prepare to delve into the dark mysteries surrounding Daggerford...)
  • Lands of Intrigue: Castle Spulzeer (The Golden Fortress and the Amnian Council Army are in dire straights. We face a Lizardfolk infestation to the west, a goblinoid infestation to the east, the Skullgnasher Giants are attacking Hillfort Torbold and Tethyr is encroaching on our borders to the south. The primary objective of the Council of Six is to always protect our commercial interests in the Realms. At this time, all of the A.C.A.'s resources are bent on the Amn/Tethyr Border Dispute.)

  • Enigma Island - Complete (An epic quest for the Lost Treasure of Kaldric the Foul on the remote island kingdom of Varota. On the brink of civil war, a divided Royal Family vies with the noble dynasties of Bloodaxe and Valiant for control of the island, as the Temple of the goddess Tanja seeks to purge witchcraft from the countryside. The emerging merchant houses of Bratik, Augustus and Lupin compete with the Masons and Knights Templar for influence through liaisons with the nobility and the powerful city guilds. As your ship docks, it seems that you will be drawn into this maelstrom.)

  • Blacksteel Chronicles:

    1.

    2. The Blacksteel Chronicles Vol 2: Dark Legacy (Your exploration of the lost continent has disturbed an ancient menace, putting the expedition in great peril. Can you repel this unexpected invasion?)

    3.

  •

M) Traverse the planes:

  • Basically all modules with Planescape as a setting.
  • Citadel (An outcast finds a secret city in the mountains north of Dale. The newcomer is quickly embroiled in the city's struggle to survive the attack of three planar armies. Heavy combat with medium roleplaying and world that changes as the PC interacts. Playtested by NWVault community members. Spans levels 6-32. Dungeon crawl finale with difficult combat.)

  • Madness and Magic (You were minding your own business, taking a little time off between two world-saving adventures, when suddenly you found yourself snatched away to a wizard's lab. The wizard's name is Melvin, and sure enough, he needs your help. He lost something - a sphere - and wants you to get it back for him. Sounds like a regular fetch quest, right? There's just one problem: the sphere is sentient and is tearing holes in the fabric of time and space, jumping from one dimension to another. You'll have to follow in its wake, world after world, and hope reality simply doesn't cease to exist before you can reach the sphere.)

N) Resurrected/Summoned:

  • The Breach (You are dust. A grain of sand drifting in nothingness. You do not have a purpose and none could infer your awareness. But yet, you are about to be summoned by the Maker... In this module you play the role of a summoned undead lord. A breach has just been opened in the space-time continuum. The Maker, ruler of the Undead Nation, has used the power generated by a thousand souls to summon you. Your task: take control over the Continuum.) + Italian version (La Breccia)

  • Resurrection Gone Wrong (You feel yourself falling and everything becomes dark. When you wake up, you are in an unusual room with two oddly dressed ladies talking. You feel strange, as though your skin doesn't fit right. Then you begin to have a conversation with the two ladies. That's when things take a turn for the weird. Try to survive in someone else's body in a D&D world. Can you get back? Is there some sort of dragon killing wand somewhere? Who the hell let all of these zombies roam around town anyway? This truly is a Resurrection Gone Wrong!)

  • Resurrection Gone Wronger, Romancing the Bob (Saving the world is hard. Saving yourself is harder. In the first game, you found yourself stuck in a fantasy world with magic and monsters. You worked hard to find your way back to your home; a slightly psychotic little mudball called earth. Three clerics agreed to work together to send you back. However, it seems a little bit of zombie mush got on one of the scrolls and something went wrong. You have not left this world to your great dismay. Now you are stuck on a fantasy world with danger and intrigue all around and only one rumor of a way back. The question becomes, what will you do with the rest of your life here?)

O) Humorous/Funny adventure: DESPERATELY NEEDS ITS OWN LIST

  • Always Winter Nights:
    1. Always Winter Nights (If you don't like to read past the 6th grade level, don't bother downloading this. Contains course language, sexual situations, gratuitous nudity and gratuitous violence. I wanted to use the Winter tile set that never came out. But anyway this is a parody of a lot of the other modules out as well as the original.)
    2. Always Winter Nights 2 Shiver on the River (The long a waited release of the sequel to the module that nobody probably cares about! The setting starts with your escape from the 1st module (Always Winter Nights) and leaving by ship (A shameless rip off of Adam Millers D.C. modules) a long with cinematics galore! It also has romanceable and packable henchmen (for them times when you need different talents!) and another jaw dropping ending. Hope you enjoy it! And download it! Naw! dont download it and see if I care!)
  • Annals Of The Blade Errant - Demo (Being a humble disciple of the Sun Moon Society, your day began like any other - relatively uneventful, dull, and very very boring. Needless to say, things began to pick up as the hours went by. Stolen jewels, missing princesses, evil sects, corny sidekicks, oh my! Story spoilers are fun and all, but play the module instead. Thus begins the Annals Of The Blade Errant...)
  • Ankh Morpork - City of Discworld (A'Tuin, the great Star Turtle, carries Discworld upon its back on its cosmic journey across the boundless Universe. It is the only creature in the Universe that knows exactly where it is going. Upon its back stand Berilia, Tubul, Great T'Phon, and Jerakeen, the four giant elephants upon whose shoulders the Disc of the World rests. Welcome to my pale interpretation of the Discworld of English author Terry Pratchett. The city of Ankh-Morpork contains the Patrician's Palace, the Unseen University, and many other off-beat locales. You start inside of the Watch House (a sort of Police Station) of the Shades district of Ankh-Morpork. The module includes 54 quests ranging from the ridiculous to the extremely difficult.)
  • The Bard's Tale (Come relive the mystery and the adventure of The Bard’s Tale, as you’ve never seen it before. And don’t forget to pick up a Flame Horn if you can find one!)

  • Boutique Du Temps (An "adventure in shopping". . . The ultimate Monty Haul, conveniently located in a store, for quick turnaround and outfitting. The Boutique rests in a unique bubble of creation at the bottom of the Pit of Lost Hours, the ones you spent gaming. All levels, classes, races, and alignments are welcome to come and spend their money; single players only.)

  • Electron (After the unfortunate death of the legendary artificer Aurora, her distant relative Electron has come to study her old workshop.  You, her heir as well as her greatest creation, must fufill her obligation to show Electron the tools of magical creation.)

  • Fairy Tale (A short module that is part parody and part pseudo-philosophy, making fun of the basic fantasy story structure and raising the occasional question about whether one should spend time reading stories (or playing games). Your character will be raised to level 5 at the start of the module if they are lower.  There is very little combat, so don't worry too much about your build or gear.  There is no real penalty for respawning, so click that button the moment you die!)

  • The Grimshade Run (A strange little town holds a deep, dark secret. What is the Grimshade Run?)

  • Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (Ah, yes, I'm sure you're all excited to tear into this. Please do! Please, also, play the module, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, first. It's only a few minutes, but shows very well what this model is capable of. Also, there is a small module called 'illya.mod' which is a quick way to actually fight the er.. tentacled ones. I'd go in with at least a 12th level character. I'm sure you'll be pleased.)

  • Hello Kitty Island Adventure (A Neverwinter MMORPG for CEP 22c+) (Our story begins with the crash-landing on a mysterious island in the South Pacific of Hello Kitty Air flight 337, which had been carrying Hello Kitty and friends to the 5th Cuteness World Symposium in Perth, Australia. Our heroes – including Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru and others – find themselves marooned on the nameless island along with fellow passengers. Soon the survivors discover that the island is inhabited by a community of squat, foul-mouthed characters whose only intention is to send the newcomers packing by any means possible.)

  • In the Company of Thieves 1: Grand Theft Otto (Port Maddog, a lawless, fog-shrouded port city teeming with thieves, villains, scoundrels... and endless opportunities. You've come to the city seeking to join The Shadowdwellers, a guild of rogues and mercenaries known for their skill, honor and unique brand of justice. But it is a dark time for the guild. One of their own, a highly skilled 'second story man' known as Otto 'Grand Theft' Cutpurse, was captured while looting the royal coffers. The guild must find a way to break him out of the palace dungeon, and soon. Tomorrow at noon he's going to be executed in the public square.) + Grand Theft Otto in Polish

  • In the Company of Thieves 2: Metal Of Honor (Travelers from all over the realm have made the journey to Port Maddog to attend The Midsummer Carnival Of Wonders. But for the guild called The Shadowdwellers, it is not a time of celebration. Prince Garrick, the rightful heir to the throne, has been kidnapped. Deep beneath the streets of the fog-shrouded city, a meeting has been arranged. A man named Scathe claims to have information vital to Prince Garrick's rescue and safe return. He'll give it to you... for a price.)

  • Monty Python Adventures Part 1: Arthur Meets a Moose (It's Python, it's silly, and it's finally finished (Part 1 anyway). Part 1 of a planned 3 part series. Part 1 follows the Holy Grail film from the start through Sir Robin, and includes Flying Circus and other Monty Python material. The module is aimed towards characters starting from scratch at level 1. The module is intended to be a fully playable adventure set in the world of The Holy Grail film, not just a series of Python gags.)

  • Penultima:

    1. Penultima 0: Penultima City
    2. Penultima 1: Pest Control
    3. Penultima 2: Deweys Decimal
    4. Penultima 3: Hazard Pay
    5. Penultima 4: Clucking Hostile
    6. Penultima 5: Home Sweet Home

+ Polish Version

+ Italian Translation

+ Russian Translation

+ Japanese Translation

  • Penultima ReRolled (Penultima... its very name speaks of the mundane, the ordinary, the half-hearted. And for the longest time, that held true; even the bold and mighty adventurers of this valley kingdom would be spotted more often than not drinking coffee and arguing about business contracts. But as YOU have discovered, more lurks underneath the surface of this country than meets the eye... and just as you debunked legends and tangled with gods in recent weeks, so shall you again... in Penultima ReRolled.) + Polish Version  Russian Translation

  • tPoCD Episode 1: Get Ducky! (Woe for the pride of a dwarf and the vanity of a thief! The start of it all (and the beginnings of the Mad Mallard's rampage!) Currently, Get Ducky! is only found in the Jan 2012 CCC:Rogues project)

  • Recipe for Horror (Welcome to Gourmont, home of the Northern Province Culinary Competition, once a year host to some of the realm's greatest chefs. And after they depart, they leave behind them some of the tastiest dishes ever created. But something tastes funny in Gourmont. Beneath the town's sugary coating lies simmering bitter rivalries, sour feelings, and spicy conspiracies. Will you be thrown into the boiling pot of intrigue? Or will you solve the mystery at the bottom of the bowl?)

Now you are stuck on a fantasy world with danger and intrigue all around and only one rumor of a way back. The question becomes, what will you do with the rest of your life here?)

  • Santa is Missing! (It seemed like such a good idea at the time. After saving the world countless times, you'd take this nice, easy job as head of security for the North Pole. But now you spend your days settling disputes over gingerbread houses and investigating tinsel theft; and you dream of the days when the fate of the world rested on your shoulders. Be of good cheer! Your dreams are about to come true...)

  • Sex and The Single Adventuress (Sex themed humerous adventure for a high level female PC. Warning includes a lot of cartoon sex, cartoon nudity, and crude language. If you are at all prudish - do not download this module.)

  • Snickersnack! (You have wandered into the terrible Anauroc Desert, looking for fun and adventure. At a roadcross a big signpost catches your attention...   Warning: this module has humorous content.)

  • Sunset of Flame (You play a rogue in an organization called TSOT (T'argados Special Operations Team). This group of elite rogues fixes up some of the country's 'problems' for her Majesty, the Queen. Currently, there is a rebellion going on, led by a group of 'terrorists'. And when they strike your own City, you are sent on a mission to infiltrate the Kuenza Tower, otherwise known as the Tower of Tears, which is the HQ for the 'terrorist' organization.)

P) Games:

  • Magic cards game:

    • Coldhearth ("Decades ago, a war between the various guilds of a large city brought chaos. Several refugees fled into the high mountains. There, the small town of Coldhearth was established. You are a direct descendant of the original settlers.")

    • Demon or its whole series: Shadowlords, Dreamcatcher, and Demon campaigns or Demon Cards

    • The HeX coda 02 (Incomplete Yet Finished Release) (...the HeX coda 02 has unfortunately been cancelled. However, half the game is here in playable form, and a detailed story synopsis with dialogue and plot notes is included so you can enjoy the remainder of the twists and secrets of the series.)

    • The HeX coda MM: card battle arena (Welcome to the arena, Hex Coder! This is an OPTIONAL side story in the HeX coda series which takes place between HX1 and HX2. It introduces Melee Maidens (a card battle minigame) and features rare cards not available anywhere else in the series, as well as online multiplayer PvP card battles. This module will be updated as new cards are introduced in HX2. (v1.32))

  • Chess:

    • Legend of the Golden Axe: Battle Chess (Battle it out on this chessboard with all of your favorite characters from Legend of the Golden Axe! Death Viper, Krakrok Greatsword, the Good King, Big Brudda, the Princess, Dark Half-Orc: Lowblow, Sorchia Flameblade, Ms. Demeanor, Gilious Rockbottom, General Gnarlland, Chikenbak, and the Castle Guard - they are all there!)

  • RTS games:

    • Fighting Games (Strategy) (Elf against Undead. 2 Trainers, 2 Teams, 200 Points each. Spend your points to create a custom army. When your soldiers kill an enemy you will gain additional points to spend. There are magic sparks that represent strategic positions for your forces to occupy. Each nearby creature you control will grant additional points over time, so hold these positions.)
    • Good vs Evil:

      • Good vs Evil (Good vs Evil is an action-strategy module for Neverwinter Nights that puts one or more players in command of an army fighting in an epic battle between good and evil. Lead an army of humans, elves, dwarves, orcs or undead on any of three battlefields. Gather mana, secure shrines, summon and command AI troops, deploy artillery and rally soldiers to your banner as you lead your army to victory .. or ignominy.)

      • Good vs Evil II (Take command of an army in an epic battle between good and evil, with up to a hundred soldiers on the battlefield at any one time! Choose a side. Choose an army. Choose a battlefield. Give orders to your troops, summon reinforcements and deploy artillery to support them as your army strives to capture the enemy's shrines, smash down the gates of their fortress and destroy their altar.)

      • Good vs. Evil III (Lead an army in an epic battle between good and evil, with up to a hundred soldiers on either side! Give orders to your troops, summon reinforcements, and deploy artillery to support them, as your army strives to capture the enemy's shrines, smash down the gates of their fortress and destroy their altar. Wage war against the computer, or take the battle online and fight alongside (or against!) your friends. Join either side, as a General or a Hero, with six armies to lead, and eight battlefields to fight over.)

    • Harvest of Souls 1.26b33 (Harvest of Souls began as an experiment by Deva Winblood in 2003. He had this idea to see what happened when you melded some Real Time Strategy concepts with an RPG while keeping the emphasis on the RPG elements. He made it possible to create units for teams based on some resources which had to be gathered in various ways. Then he made sure there were ways for players to command these units. Initially, Harvest of Souls started with four teams which could be controlled by one of four players. These teams were and remain to be The Dwarves, The Unclean, The Undead, and The Spider Cultists. Each team plays different from the other teams and there is no friendship between them.)

  • Team Competition:
    • The Light Reborn: PvP Quest - Rescue v1.62 (Samuel calls upon a group of less experienced heroes to prepare a rescue. You’ll only have one day to assault the dark castle and free Kaeri from the clutches of Bloodspeth before night falls and Kalyl the Lord of Vampires arrives to take Kaeri away. But Solanor will not have his plans spoiled. He has assigned a few of his servants to protect the dark castle. But these are not ordinary villains. They are the most cunning and scheming villains you will ever face - for they are played by real players! This is TLR PvP Quests: Team competitive role playing. A unique combination of role playing and PvP. This module is highly replayable. Expect a completely different experience each time.)
    • LTC Epic - Quest of the Avatars (Because of the time required to prepare a 20th level character, this version of LTC allows local-vault characters. However, all characters are stripped of items upon entering the game, and begin with the same allotment of gold to purchase equipment in the starting stores before the start of play. Play involves team of characters progressing through seven Challenge Areas to confront the Avatars of Forgotten Realms deities, who must be overcome in order to return powerful Artifacts to score. The first team to recover four Artifacts wins the Challenge.)
    • Advanced Battle of the Dragons (Two dragons, Aniel and Roshnak engage in an epic battle to dominate the realm. You join forces with either to be a hero in this battle. Fight alongside the Dragons' armies, slay hordes of underlings while raking in the treasure. But be wary of enemy Heroes, they could be hiding in the shadows. Team Battle Arena at its finest!)
  • Other:

    • Whack-A-Hole (CaveGnome's entry to the Spring 2014 ABC. This is an alpha module but you should be able to finish it. In case of need, there are some Hints/Spoilers in the readme)
