Bio on author

Where shall I begin? Well, for starters, my name is Freddie Freeman. I'm a freelance writer in my spare time, and do things like short stories, articles, and reviews. I also have a habit of working for free (I just figured out the meaning of "freelance"); the sheer enjoyment of writing is usually enough for me. I've written tons of articles on the internet for various websites.

I had always visited Neverwinter Vault, and had thought Prophecy of the Talisman was a great idea. So, one day I decided to contact Maximus regarding its future. To cut a long story short, my proposed story, The Soulstone, won him over, and I'll be handling the usual interactive story around here, now that Prophecy of the Talisman has come to an end (dig that surprise ending).

I'm currently a student, trying to figure out what a writer should major in (journalism, perhaps?). Getting a "real" job has been rather unsuccessful, as AMC Theaters wouldn't hire me for some reason (they'll get theirs). In my free time, I like to play computer and video games, read, and do anything else that isn't *too* constructive. I'm currently hacking my way through The Annotated Chronicles (a Dragonlance compilation book consisting of 3 books), The Lord of the Rings, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I currently "work" for Alex Behrens over at Gaming-Unlimited as the Webmaster and Software Editor. Basically, I get games for review from companies and write about them. It's been a pretty good deal thus far; I figure getting to keep the games covers the cost of my work. Occasionally, I'll get lucky and have the chance to interview a gaming-industry bigshot. You may think I'm lying, but I swear I interviewed Bill Roper over the phone not too long ago (he's one of the "main fools" over at Blizzard). I think that interview is still on Gaming-Unlimited, actually.

I've also written strategy articles for Mindripper Games on subjects such as Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer 40,000, and Warmaster (the latter two being tabletop wargames). I also, of course, love interactive entertainment. I'm an avid gamer, and am anxiously awaiting Neverwinter Nights (and The Matrix 2, just so you know).

Alright, enough rambling; you know enough about me to right an unauthorized biography. Enjoy "The Soulstone", and please let me know how you like it - thanks!
